Bjarne Butler was raised on the east coast of southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, in the unincorporated logging town of Chemainus. Growing up, Bjarne spent his time playing hockey at a local ice rink and indulged in outdoor sports such as wakeboarding and snowboarding, spending most of his summers at Sproat lake. Bjarne dwelled in many short term careers such as, commercial tuna, prawn and crab fishing, he worked at Canadian Tire, shucked oysters at a seafood plant, worked maintenance at a resort and saw mill, and worked as a hook tender trainee for 8 months before he started falling for his dad.

After buying his first house, Bjarne started working for a local contractor, and has now been contracting himself for 2 years. Bjarne is a man of many talents with an exceptional background including his 16 years of falling experience. Bjarne’s YouTube channel has grown immensely since his first post in 2018, accumulating a strong social media following of just over 5.1 thousand subscribers. He enjoys vlogging and documenting his adventures in the great Pacific Northwest, Bjarne expresses his love for prospecting, inventing and entrepreneurship through his channel and has already begun production on his own apparel brand, selling outdoor gear. Bullbucker is a brand for loggers and outdoor enthusiasts such as Bjarne.
