In this episode we pick up from the last one and continue our journey to Carlisle. Next we spend some time line side along the Newcastle to Carlisle line, seeing the HSTs working in their final year on these diversions. Following this, we take a works trip to Whatley and Merehead quarries and see class 59s and 66s in action and on the sheds there. We finish back in the Ferrybridge area, and see some freight and passenger workings there before heading to York.
